Professor Cadman's research focuses on the use and implications of accounting information in compensation as well as the role of external monitors and other governance mechanisms. He has current research projects on stock option compensation for top executives, the role of venture capitalists in contract design at the initial public offering, and more recently, the role of compensation consultants in the design of executive compensation. Cadman holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Oregon.
