U Professors Involved with National Climate Assessment

Today the Obama administration released the third National Climate Assessment, which assesses the science of climate change and its impacts across the United States today and in the future.

University of Utah atmospheric sciences professors Jim Steenburgh and John Horel, as well as mechanical engineering professor Eric Pardyjak, contributed to the Southwest Climate Change Assessment Report, a contribution to the National Climate Assessment and a landmark study examining climate and its effects on the people and landscapes of Utah, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and the United States-Mexico border region.
