Migrant women

Violence against women exists in every nation, but often women most vulnerable to abuse are those with barriers to access to social and legal services. A new report from the S.J. Quinney College of Law Center for Global Justice, “Prevention and Protection Partnerships: Empowerment through Rights Education,” examines the problems faced by migrant women in the U.S., particularly migrant women across Utah and the Wasatch Front. Law professor Erika George is available to discuss the paper’s findings and recommendations.
