U physician/scientist reflects on research in Cuba and implications of renewed relationship

For many, hopes are high that President Obama’s visit Cuba is a step toward improved relations between Cuba and the U.S. For University of Utah Health Care physician/scientist Dr. Stefan-M. Pulst, a collaboration with physicians in Cuba has been reality for two decades. Pulst is available to reflect on a discovery he made in 1996, what it means for patients in the U.S. and Cuba and what more collaborations between the U.S. and Cuba could bring from a biotechnology standpoint.
